| So, I can't believe it...I leave here tomorrow morning--
Its been awesome to see God work...in my life...through my life...and through NTM.
I am excited and ready to get home, but I know that I will miss it here.
I know I will miss....
Lorraine and Broughie!

And these guys....

...it really is such a small world. God amazes me how he takes care of us.

| Wow, lots has happened since my last post. Since then, I have ventured out on my own in this crazy busy city of manila

I did have a few scary moments traveling about the city--but it is
amazing how God provided for me...I can share stories with you when I
get home, but it would just be too hard to type out all of the
details...we all know how horrible of a story teller i am! :)
Yesterday had to have been one of the highlights of my trip here. I got
to spend the afternoon just hanging out, talking, playing and loving
little filipino kids. They were so adorable!!! If I end up moving back
here, I want to live right with them in their neighborhood! :)
these girls right here tried to teach me Tagolog...it was so
cute...they would point to their nose, eyes, hair, etc. and then I
would try to repeat what they would say...of course I would say it
totally wrong! , and they would giggle...i loved it! Then they would
say, "Auntie Stephanie, you so funny!"

This is Mico (i think that is right-help me out, mark!) he is the
smartest 4th grader i have ever met! He knows more US facts than any
American I know! I told him I was from Ohio, and he said, "Ohh,
Columbus!" He knows all the capitals!

Special shout out to Cring Family for sending my with hairclips and games and bracelets for the kids. They loved them!

They are so beautiful!

| I cannot believe it is already FRIDAY!!!! My time is really flying!
But, this weekend, I am taking a big step--i am stepping outside of the
mission home walls alone! I will definately keep you guys up to date on
how it goes!
Well, some were asking what my room looks like here at the mission home, so-here are some pics.

i know what some of you are saying--wow steph, your room is pretty
clean-but i have to be honest--this was just after one of the guest
home helpers came in and cleaned it! :) they are great!
Miss you guys!

| I cannot believe how fast my time here is flying! I am already to the halfway point--I do miss home though!
Here are some pictures from this weekend.I took it pretty easy. No big
trips this weekend. I did get a manicure and pedicure-labor is so cheap
here that you can get all of that done for about $6! And you can also
get a 1 hour massage for about $10! I am hoping I get to that sometime
before I leave.
Last night I went to a little prayer meeting with all of the students
that are in language school. That was an encouragment! I had fun
getting to know them. I wish I had pictures to show. They are a fun
group!
It looks like I am going to get to go visit a tribe! I am so excited!!!
I will keep you guys posted on what happens with that-pray that all of
the details work out!
Here are some more pictures from the weekend...just hanging out...we got a little giggly.

.....and here is a picture of that cool cafe that I went to the other day...that is over 100 years old-it is beautiful!

....and.......

a picture speaks a thousand words...or just three....
